There are over 74 million owned dogs in the United States living in about 41 million homes. Who, by the way, give billions of dollars a year to the pet industry for things like beds, pet clothing, toys and gourmet cookies.
The answer will not be found with a few who give a lot but with a lot of people who each give a little. Are 5 million dog lives worth $10 to you?
